Bayside Marketplace MarqueeBayside Marketplace is an open-air urban marketplace, located right on Biscayne Bay and behind the American Airlines arena. Bayside is vibrant, with exotic, trendy restaurants, national brand name stores and daily live entertainment.  Bayside Marketplace has the same type of restaurants and nightclubs that found in other major U.S. cities (i.e. Hard Rock Cafe). Chico’s launched a national chain from this location.  Also, Dick Clark was recruited by Jimmy Wilson to open the first Dick Clark American Bandstand. It serves as the central point for tourist-oriented shoppertainment.  For travelers on a budget, Bayside Marketplace can be an attractive option, as it houses a large food court offering value-oriented cafeteria-style food.

Jimmy Wilson managed a sales and marketing Bayside Marketplace Grand Openingstaff of 12 leasing professionals, with a tenant allowance budget in excess of $20,000,000, generating retail sales in excess of $100,000,000.   Jimmy Wilson devised a strategy for overcoming multiple radius restrictions, while delivering the largest "minority participation" entrepreneurship initiative in American history. Jimmy Wilson held an international contest for the operation of several outdoor daiquiri bars, located near the entertainment stage. The outdoor stage features nightly live entertainment that can be enjoyed for free, so patrons don't feel the pressure to just buy.  
Bayside Marketplace ignited the birth of the South Beach and helped attract ocean living by the rich and famous.
